I left the cage with individual brackets removed and slid it forward to have room to plug in PSU cables. The track is riveted to the case so you can't remove that. I was able to remove it from the adjustable track it is mounted in but the cage was too big to find an opening in the case to slide it through. Secondly the drive cage mounted to the bottom of the case doesn't completely come out. I don't use silent mode so I was ok with this. The mounting holes in the back of the case only have one pattern.

I was not able to install it with the fan facing up which is required for silent mode operation for passive heat distribution. I have a Seasonic Prime Titanium 850W and it has the option to mount it with the fan up or down depending on whether or not you use the silent mode.
